The Route

This was the trip we did - a round trip from home in Labrador via Roma, Barcaldine, Emerald, Moura, Monto, Gympie, and the Sunshine Coast.  By the end of it, we had done nearly 3,000 km - in Ravi with a side trip to the Lake Dunn Sculpture Trail (near Aramac) in Gina the hire car.  It was a wonderful trip and we saw lots of what was on offer ... but had we chosen to do a longer trip, we could have seen lots more.  I was grateful for the internet and each of the town/area's sites which pointed out things of interest, plus The Australian Silo Art Trail Group on FaceBook with its amazingly generous members who post of their travels to places of interest around the country.
